INTERVENTION

From mass-outreach via the internet to on-the ground support in underserved communities, PAU faculty, staff and students are working to extend the availability of professional mental health services.

The Gap Foundation, based in Hong Kong, funds and manages projects to improve and nurture the lives of children and youth living in conditions of need, hardship, and distress. Their mission is to "stand in the gap" -- the gap in basic provisions, opportunities and privileges -- that prevents for the disadvantaged children and youth in Asia and the rest of the world from living a full life.

The purpose of the Center for m²Health is to develop, evaluate and disseminate new ways to use technology and to help provide affordable, accessible, evidence-based mental health care to large, defined, populations. m2Health works with collaborators across the world on advancing the field of mobile mental health technology.

The Institute for International Internet Interventions for Health is developing  ways to provide health and mental health services to underserved communities using interactive and internet-accessible technology. Learn more...
